US Bishop Change: Yakima, Washington

This morning the Holy See announced the decision of Pope Benedict XVI to accept the retirement of Bishop Carlos Arthur Sevilla, S.J. and to name Bishop Joseph Jude Tyson as Bishop of Yakima, Washington, USA

Bishop Tyson had been serving as Auxiliary Bishop of Seattle.
 
The Diocese of Evansville Indiana which is my diocese is going to get a new Bishop sometime soon as well. Our current Bishop, Bishop Gerald Gettelfinger announced his pending retirement several months ago. I still haven’t heard who is going to replace him though. If anyone knows, please do post on here or preferably send me a PM as well.
