What’s interesting is in a lot of places it is the Catholic schools that are doing full, in-person, traditional schooling (with precautions of course), while the public schools are going remote. I know at least one family for whom this played a big role in them choosing the Catholic school. Since I think everyone agrees in-person schooling is more effective than zoom if you can do it (especially for younger kids), support for schools doing it safely seems in the interest of the common good to me.
