Well, as sad as it is to see a seminary close- especially one that is so old- the United States is no longer Europe’s mission territory. The missionaries to us will more likely come from Africa. It’ll be ironic when it becomes as common to find American priests serving parishes, and American bishops serving dioceses in Ireland, France, Germany, and other European countries as it was years ago to find priests and bishops from those countries serving the parishes and dioceses here.
