US Government Funds Youth “Sex Work” Programs

WASHINGTON, February 10 (C-FAM) A program funded by the United States government is using aid money to normalize commercial sexual exploitation of young people in the developing world.
Under the guise of providing health services to “young people who sell sex,” critics charge the Interagency Youth Working Group with working to normalize the commercial sexual exploitation of young people.
The program, which is funded by the US Agency for International Development, focuses on developing “interventions to reduce health risks” faced by young people involved in “commercial sex work.”
Describing various threats to the well being of young prostitutes, the program lists discrimination, and urges changes in societal norms and public policy rather than the behavior of the “sex workers.”

This article is reminiscent of a quote from Abraham Lincoln, that being, “This soup is made from a chicken that died of starvation”. The topic is horrid and the article’s thin facts, assuming that there are any, do little or nothing to address the use of the money. My heart goes out to any child confronting sexual exploitation and I can’t envision that any U.S. funded program is being used to further that exploitation as the title and sentiment of the article expresses.

This is a complete and utter disgrace, is this what Obama calls ‘change’?

Well, it is change, we never supported child prostitution before, but I guess it seems to be OK now. There is no such thing as sin, only prejudice against the actions of others.

The new sins of the day are not recycling, and questioning certain histories.

What has happened to America? Will we go the way of the wicked kingdoms of Israel, who fell into grave sin, and saw destruction for it?

And is not harlotry illegal in the U.S.? Why would our government support or condone it in other countries? It sounds a bit diabolical to me.
