USA want to to restart Nuclear Testing again ? No peace there then

The “U.S.” doesn’t want to re-start nuclear testing. Trump does - or at least he dribbled such a thought as a piece of political chum to appeal to his base in an attempt to appear “strong” in this time of his unhinged behavior.

I’m sorry, but one, what does “mainly based upon wars” mean, and two, what country’s history doesn’t have numerous wars in it? Why is the US so special in this regard?

You will be the cause of a WW3 , not Korea or Russia but USA.

Testing weapons is an act of war? WW3 will be solely at the feet of Americans because we live in a world where nuclear weapons are a thing and the MAD doctrine is very much in force? Do you really think the world is in a state of peace because there have been no formal declarations of war?

So why didn’t WWIII break out in 1992, then, if nuclear weapons testing causes wars to break out?

The sad part is that I doubt there’s an American on this forum against global nuclear disarmament and peace, but somehow the US is special. The US among all other nations is war mongering. The US loves war because of its history in war (never mind the irony of this coming from someone with “England” in their username). And that just poisons the whole discussion.
 
Most Americans are peaceful folk and God loving which I agree with.

But politicaly I can not stand back and say nothing when Trump (who I like) is going down a very dangerous path.

I would gently suggest that your country named in your username is no slouch in the “wars” department either. In fact, y’all have literally thousands of years of experience more than us in the “war” arena.
Not to mention that two of the US’s most recent forays into war was to save your country’s bacon.

Don’t worry about it. He has advisors who will keep him from making any truly stupid moves (as in, global war, not the garden variety stupid moves like running across the street during a protest). Much of what he says this year is hot air aimed at getting re-elected.

I agree, but from a different prospective…unless testing is resumed before January 20, 2021, I won’t worry. It will be the voters, not his advisors who will keep him from making any truly stupid moves.
