A similiar story was carried two weeks ago by Raymond Arroyo on EWTN’s The World Over.

I recall that one organization which received the bishops’ money is linked to Soros.

Two things I remembered them saying is why the bishops wouldn’t be giving to projects in their own areas. And, considering there was millions given away, why wouldn’t they have considered the Selasian nuns who were begging for money to keep their schools open in DC? I think they were talking about $14 million.

My question is, considering that Arroyo and the aforementioned Catholic reporters have the ability to delve into these various organizations asking for the bishops’ support, wouldn’t it have been prudent to do some checking before writing out the checks?

I’m not giving. Between Notre Dame and this, it really makes me wonder what is going on.
