When married couples contracept, they are declaring “not your will God, but my will be done.”

Gen 1:28, 9:1,7; 35:11
"Be fruitful and increase in number; We are told 3 times!

**Genesis 28:3 **
3 May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and increase your numbers until you become a community of peoples.

Children are a blessing!

**Genesis 38:8-10 **
8 Then Judah said to Onan, “Lie with your brother’s wife and fulfill your duty to her as a brother-in-law to produce offspring for your brother.” 9 But Onan knew that the offspring would not be his; so whenever he lay with his brother’s wife, he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from producing offspring for his brother. 10 What he did was wicked in the LORD’s sight; so he put him to death also.

Wasting his seed was wicked!

**Exodus 23:25-26 **
25 Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, 26 and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.

God promises blessings which include no miscarriages or barrenness

**1 Corinthians 7:5 **

5 Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

This is o.k.

**1 Timothy 2:15 **
15 But women will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.

Don’t you want salvation?

You don’t have to tell me about NFP being the right thing, I know that! What you don’t know is it is easier said than done. What you don’t know is how it is to watch your newborn suffer from a fatal disease and how we are hoping for a donor so he can undergo a life-threatening transplant that he may or may not make it through. To watch him receive chemo in the line going past his heart, and suffer from all the bad side-effects, holding him 24/7 in order to soothe his pain. Pulling your other children out of not only school but society so they will not get sick and give it to him and cause him to die. we live in a bubble right now and will for a while, then for atleast 100 days; our family will have to relocate leaving our job, so we will live on fund raiser money. Will people continue to want to support a family that keep having children that could have this, or should we just lose our home and live in boxes, or is an insurance co. going to pay for more one million dollar surgeries(this is what a bmt cost), we have already had another child go through this, fortuately she made it! We worry everyday that someday our other children could get this disease, it can happen at any age, do you realise our fear?! there is no test for this rare disease. We LOVE children, I would have a dozen, but can any human or saint do this to another life? I DON’T KNOW!

These are your words not theirs, please include a direct citation from EACH AND EVERY married couple.

please see the New American Bible read the foot note

Catholics are both barren and have miscarriages, so are we out of God’s favor?
Don’t you want salvation?
are you the granter of such?

I practice NFP. I am not married yet and have chosen not to marry until I feel ready which may be after my future spouse is beyond childbearing age. That may mean I deliberately wasted my time not having children. Does that mean I did something wrong? Nope. I just found my love late in life and it is too late to have children. I know of many couples who get married later in life as well. What’s the big deal folks? Artificial birth control is wrong but I see nothing wrong with the natural means of avoiding children.

There is no possible circumstance in which husband and wife cannot, strengthened by the grace of God, fulfill faithfully their duties and preserve in wedlock their chastity unspotted. This truth of Christian Faith is expressed by the teaching of the Council of Trent. “Let no one be so rash as to assert that which the Fathers of the Council have placed under anathema, namely, that there are precepts of God impossible for the just to observe. God does not ask the impossible, but by His commands, instructs you to do what you are able, to pray for what you are not able that He may help you.”[48]

From Casti Connubii, Pope Pius XI

dlmlkae- I thought of you when I read this. Pray for what you are not able to do and you will be strengthened by the grace of God. I hope you find this helpful.

NFP was taught by Mother Theresa to illiterate Hindus, so it is not something that is hard to learn. It does take the cooperation of both spouses; but again, listen to Janet Smith on some of her observations as to the differences in attitutdes between those who use the pill, and those who don’t.
.
I’m embarrassed to say that as an educated woman, I h ad an extremely difficult time learning it. In fact, I was not able to. 😦

There are many different versions of NFP-
Sympto-Thermal (CCLI)
Billings
Creighton

I started a Facebook NFP group- and I am amazed at the different styles each of us uses.
Perhaps you should look into a different version? Apparently, CCLI has redone the “rules” and is presenting a simplified version. Maybe this would be helpful to you?
