Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I can’t supply you with the exact quote as I can’t remember where I found it. As for suddenly going outside the Faith: It isn’t a sudden and recent thing. As I explained earlier, I applied these concepts in my journey between Wicca and Protestantism to the Church. Once I starting reading Fr Fleming’s What is Ignatian Spirituality and Saint Ignatius de Loyola’s Spiritual Exercises, after reading Saint Theresa de Avila and Saint John of the Cross and Saint Thomas de Kempis; I found the Catholic spirituality that I feel best suits me and is the core of my spiritual practice aside from the Rosary.

mrsdizzyd; you’ve hit the nail on the head. Whenever I’ve encountered these concepts and others that may be useful; I always look at how, if at all; these concepts fit in with Catholic theological principles. If they do, great. If not, I toss them to the side.

As for the discussion on jinn and demons; here’s my point: I believe that the jinn are demons; plain and simple. I believe that demons masquerade under different names and faces all across human history. If I understand the concept right; jinn are basically like the Fair Folk of the Celtic peoples: Spirits that can be good or bad; depending upon the individual spirit’s temperament and whether or not they’ve been offended by humans.

Alice Bailey and the Seven Rays sounded like a cool thing set to music, and I listened to “The Seven Rays” by Utopia many times, but I couldn’t understand why the Seven Rays couldn’t simply be Catholic because all of them are good values we seek. When I reverted I went to the local Adoration Chapel and above the altar was a stained glass window of Jesus beaming SEVEN RAYS out of his hands to five saints and two Popes (one a saint, the other Pope Leo). I immediately thought “The Seven Rays, the REAL Seven Rays!” It was a neat coincidence.

Hahahahaha That’s beautiful, Tis. I don’t think it was a coincidence. You were being led back into the Church.

more in the sense of the nations looking for the “Unknown God” that St. Paul refers to as well
Jesus said to the Samaritan woman at the well

John 4

19 “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet. 20 Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.”

21 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

Other religions are seeking for God. But God reveal Himself in His only Son. Jesus inherit all power and authority from his Father. In the name of Jesus God has entrust His Name, His Power and His Image.

Mat 28:18
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

John 14:13-14
13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

@drac16
On the above note, do not communicate, pray or ask for anything to any jinn, no matter how kind it may seem. God’s enemies are lying spirits. They appear harmless but not true. On the other hand, ask for all you need “in Jesus Name, Amen!”
