Does anyone here happen to know where to buy a snazzy alb off the rack just like the one ABp. Tim Dolan is wearing in the following photos? It might well be a custom piece from a company like Gammarelli or Euro Clero but if someone happens to know of a off the rack source I would sure appreciate knowing. Thanks.

Wow, I wondered the exact same thing. Amazed that Google found this thread. Sadly not a single one of the responses rendered an alb that was even close to the one Archbishop Dolan was wearing.

I finally found it (or something very close) though. They are available from the House of Hanson. It’s the “407alb” on thehouseofhansen.com/albs.shtml

From japhy:

notitiae.ipsissima-verba.org/

It’s a free database (still in the works) of questions and responses from the Notitiae. The text is currently only in Latin, but the priest who built the database will be translating it eventually. He has also tagged each question and response with categories, as well as PDFs of each.

My wife is making fiddleback style chasubles. As you probably all know, they can be used for the Ordinary Form or Extraordinary Form. The set will include matching chasuble, priest’s stole, maniple, burse, and chalice veil. The purchaser could use or not use whatever components they choose. In case there would be a future desire to celebrate the Extraordinary form, they would have all they need.

We have purchased a domain name www.chasublesupply.com. The web site is not up yet but should be, I hope, in about 10 days. Her job was to do the sewing and mine to make the web site. She’s ahead!

As time permits, she will make some Gothic style, some Deacon stoles, and also Orthodox vestments.

Here are some VERY cheap, but still very nice, vestments, including roman & gothic chusables, copes, chalice veils, burses, dalmatics, complete solemn mass sets for $400, humeral veils, etc… Simply follow the link, and use the left nav bar.

Very good site, and even better prices!
