Mother Angelica loved the Jerusalem Bible. I would recommend scouring some bookstores, especially Catholic bookstores in the area which You live for a Jerusalem bible.No idea

The practice of Lectio Divina sounds right for you
Simply take up your Bible and begin what can be described as a 4 step process.
First read and any part of scripture will do. The key is to read with Jesus Christ in mind. In other words how is Christ present here in this part of the Bible. We do this because as our faith teaches us Christ is there from the beginning and present in his way throughout the Bible. Making the Bible come alive through Christ is the point of what could be called step 2 which is meditation. Read and meditate on how Jesus is acting in the world even then. By being able to find Christ even in the most difficult of passages we learn to find him more easily while out in the world. Now should we become confused, worried or simply should we desire a deeper understanding we pray. I pray while preforming this practice this prayer “Lord God fill with your love and understanding so that I may understand this passage as it is taught by Your Church on Earth and may I apply what I learn through this reading of your divine word to my life”. The final step is contemplation. Don’t be frustrated if you fail to achieve this state perfectly “Contemplative prayer is the simplest expression of the mystery of prayer. It is a gift, a grace; it can be accepted only in humility and poverty” (2713 CCC). Since it is a grace the Lord will make it shine out in you in the manner of his choosing at the time of his choosing.
Finally don’t get hung up on format God loves it when we read his word. Let the spirit move you from there.

Or they could use the link I gave, for free. Or they could buy the CTS Bible, as already discussed, for about £10 and UK shipping. Or they could use the second link I gave with their RSV or NRSV, which they have now ordered but keep dithering over because people keep recommending they buy something else and suggesting that whatever they were going to buy is dangerously heretical.Mother Angelica loved the Jerusalem Bible. …EWTN might have it right on their site… they also have the Mass Live and they keep the daily Homilies on archieve!2. Prayerfully read and study the Bible passage assigned daily (1st Reading, Psalm, Gospel acclamation and the Gospel) and note the words, phrases and verses that touch your heart or which have significant effect or meaning for your life.
How does one find the above info for each day please? The right passages?
