There are no weekday Masses in the Traditional Missal except during Lent (and the Ember and Rogation days)
For a weekday Mass, the priest can choose
- the Mass of the previous Sunday
- A Votive Mass
- corresponding to the weekday- e.g. Trinity for Monday, Angels for Tuesday. you’ll find these after the Proper of Saints (the Masses for Saints according to the date)
- any other Mass of a saint or mystery tp which there is a special devotion, with some exceptions. Unless this saint has a Votive Mass (e.g. Ss. Peter and Paul) this will be the same Mass as on the saint’s feastday.
- corresponding to the particular need e.g. Mass for the forgiveness of sins. These are also after the Proper of Saints.
- A Requiem Mass (daily i.e. as opposed ot a Requiem for a funeral or on an aniversary)
The daily Requiems (cotidianae) are not allowed during Christmastide. I think also the Votive Mass is not allowed if it is not sung, but I’ll have to check.
Until Sunday, the Mass will be that of the Epiphany but without the Creed and the special Communicantes.
