Hi all!
This is kind of a strange question, but I thought someone out there might have an opinion.
Sometimes, when I’m having trouble falling asleep, I’ll grab my rosary, knowing that I’ll be asleep before I finish all five decades (it works every time!).
Is there anything wrong with doing this? Am I disrespecting the rosary by using it as a means to an end, rather than as an end in itself?
And just as a side note, I don’t “count” a bed-time rosary as an “official” rosary if I’m doing a novena or if I’ve committed to praying the rosary everyday for a specific reason/cause.
Thanks!
