What, who thinks things like being a self-professed “anti-homo” are wrong? I’m a bigot because I don’t automatically agree with your hate speech?

Sorry. I’m pretty damn smart. You’re going to have to try harder than that to fool me with twists on my own words. :yawn:

Hate speech? That’s like using the term ‘homophobia’ every time someone is against homosexuality.

Homo is a term used to degrade a gay person. Therefore saying you are “anti-homo” is hate speech.

You say that you have tried to be civil. I looked for it, and I didn’t see it. The two posts above this one were dripping with sarcasm and anger.

Brokeback Mountain is supposed to be a “love story.” It’s about two cowboys and at least one of them is married. Not only is it about homosexuality, but it is also about adultry. That is not a love story as far as I am concerned.

I have friends who are homosexual, and I love them dearly. That doesn’t mean that I don’t understand that God calls all of His people to live chastely. Understanding God’s design for marriage doesn’t mean that I am a bigot either.

Just because you disagree with someone doesn’t make them a “bigoted little twit” and calling someone that reflects poorly on yourself.

Says who? Homo is actually the REAL term. Gay is like I’m gay cuz I receive a big check; the children are gay cuz they get to go out; granny is gay cuz she won a vacation trip.

‘Gay’ is misused. Now the term is only good for homos.
The homo act is degradable. ‘Gays’ don’t like to be reminded of it.
You 're buying into it just like the rest of the culture. Homosexuality means exactly what it means to be. If anyone disagree with ‘gay’, then they are called homophobia or in your case ‘hate speech’.
