I was having a conversation with a friend about vaccines and mentioned that there were some which were derived from the tissue of aborted babies. They were pretty shocked when I told them this and didn’t really believe what I was saying.

I know I’ve heard apologists on the Pro-Life open forum speak to this issue, but I can’t find any information on the internet that looks credible. Anyone have any links to some factually legit websites that support this idea? Specifically we were talking about the MMR vaccine. Thanks in advance.

I appreciate those links. Thank you for your (name removed by moderator)ut.

Judy Brown always recommends Children of God for Life .
I would recommend them, too.Lots of good info.
Several years ago we found out about the fetal cell line used to create the current rubella vaccine. The info is all there to see through Merck, but it’s in a pharmaceutical code.
I believe the chicken pox vaccine, shingles vaccine & others also contain fetal material.
Our local health dept. at the time was very helpful & provided separate red measles & mumps vaccines(which were ethically produced) so our kids would at least be immunized against those diseases.
Since we moved to another area we have not been able to find separate vaccines & currently have to use a religious exemption to avoid vaccines derived from aborted fetuses.
The really sad thing is when you read the coding on the rubella vaccine you see that the live virus was obtained from something like the 28th aborted child. They had to go through 20 some abortions to locate the live virus back in 1967 I think. Those children would have been my brother’s age today.😦

Dr. Robert Sears, a respected pediatrician wrote a book called “The Vaccine Book”. In this book he writes about the ingredients in vaccines and how they are made. He also brings up controversies that each vaccine might bring up in people. With the MMR the original rubella virus was attained from an aborted baby. The Chicken Pox vaccine commonly called varicella, is currently cultured in lung cells from human embryos. He also has a website: www.askdrsears.com/thevaccinebook

I am a Catholic pediatrician so this comes up a lot for me. The MMR vaccine and the chicken pox vaccine are “grown” in fetal cell viral culture media. This culture media has its origin in an aborted fetus, although it is not clear from company information if these were spontaneous abortions (miscarriage) or an intended abortion with the donation of fetal material for research. According to the companies that manufacter these vaccines, there is no need for ongoing fetal destruction to create more viral culture media because the viral culture media is self-replicating on its own, and this does make scientific sense to me. This is analagous to when President Bush said that federal money could be used on existing fetal stem cell line research but that no new stem cell lines could be created.

The bishops have said that it is permissible for Catholics to receive these vaccines because no ongoing fetal death is occuring and because there are no vaccines available that don’t use fetal viral culture media to create what are legitimately good and necessary vaccines. Unlike the other reply, I believe that the seperate measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines are made with fetal viral culturre media. That only makes sense to me from a scientific perspective and if so, the Catholic Bishops would ask all Catholic parents to request these vaccines.

As if vaccines aren’t bad enough…they even use aborted babies to make some cosmetics! How sick is that?

It seems that there really are vampires who take the life from others in order to stay young.

God Bless you Doctor! Are you aware of the ongoing Eugenics/depopulation agenda agenda?

Thank you doctor. My husband and I were going to ask our Bishop, but now don’t need to. I am grateful to church heirarchy for taking the moral blow on this one. If it were up to just my husband and I, we would have had to err on the side of caution and NOT give the tainted vaccines to our children; or go to Japan (as the link below indirectly suggests); or do whatever it takes to get sound vaccines produced again.

What I don’t understand is why we aren’t made aware of the things and why alternatives are not provided? It DOES seem the epitome of evil to me.

This link provides a more thourough treatment of the subject.

Thanks, OP, for bringing this to our attention.

👍 Excellent moral answer!
Thank You

From the Pontifical Academy for Life: Declaration Moral Reflecitons on Vaccines Prepared from Cells Derived from Aborted Human Foetuses -

"To summarize, it must be confirmed that:

-there is a grave responsibility to use alternative vaccines and to make a conscientious objection with regard to those which have moral problems;
  • as regards the vaccines without an alternative, the need to contest so that others may be prepared must be reaffirmed…"
academiavita.org/template.jsp?sez=Documenti&pag=testo/vacc/vacc&lang=english

Please don’t forget the obligation of making your objection known. Earlier this month, my husband and I just mailed out letters of objection to Merck, FDA, Health and Human Services, American Academy of Pediatrics, CDC, Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and the board of trustees of our (Catholic) hospital network provider. Two of our son’s pediatricians who work in a Catholic hospital were unaware of these tainted vaccines and were in disbelief.

Currently in the USA, there is no moral alternative for Chickenpox, Hepatitis-A and Rubella. Another unfortunate part is Merck used to manufacture separate vaccines for Measles and Mumps without the tainted cell line; however, based on the recommendations made by the AAP, ACIP and CDC, Merck is no longer making the separate vaccines and is combining the tainted Rubella vaccine with the Measles and Mumps vaccinces (MMR-II). So, please remember to write. The website for Children of God for Life is on previous posts and this website lists addresses for the various agencies and pharmaceutical companies.

Just a question for you…so as a pediatrician, do you recommend to parents to get the tainted vaccines because as of right now there aren’t any other available options? I am a nurse and I work on mother baby. I have been skirting around with the issue of giving the rubella vaccine to mothers who aren’t immune. I just have a hard time with this, I know there aren’t any other available options for rubella, hep A and chicken pox but does it justify us being apart of evil that happened all those years ago? From a health care professional to another, what are your thoughts on this…I tried talking to my priest about the issue and he had no idea about it at all. I just think that the response from the bishops is kind of lax. I mean personally, now that I know where they originated, I feel that in administering them that I am now part of the evil. I have petitioned against this, but I still can’t justify the administration of these tainted vaccines in my head. Do you mind sharing your thoughts with me?

Kiwi11,

I do give these vaccines but not with ease. I do think that people are helped by them and as I understand it no further loss of human life occurs as the vaccines are now produced. As Catholic healthcare providers, I think we should be able to educated other healthcare providers about these vaccines. We can support people who choose not to use these vaccines for their convictions about the sanctity of human life. We can support Catholic and other Christian medical societies in the promotion of research that does not involve fetal destruction. I’m not perfect and I don’t claim to have all the answers but I will trust the pope and the bishops and follow their moral intructions. We need to be responsible healthcare providers in the framework of Christian morality. In today’s modern world this is not black and white, so I share your discomfort.
