Vaildity of Mass and blessing

I attending a parish today where the celebrant had and injured right arm that was imobilized in a sling. He performed the entire Mass, including the consecration with his left hand.
He also gave mym 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son “Left Handed” blessings at Communion time.

He had an injured arm. What would you have expected him to do?

It has absolutely no effect on the validity of mass or blessing. And strictly speaking the priest shouldn’t be blessing people at communion time.

If his right arm was incapacitated, there should be absolutely nothing wrong with using his left arm. I don’t expect much of the 1969 Missal dictates which hand is to be used, and when it does, it almost certainly for symbolic – rather than dogmatic – reasons.
