Validity of Orthodox Chrismation of a Catholic

The Church recognizes that validity of Orthodox sacraments so that an Orthodox who enters the Church does not receive confirmation again. This is unlike, say, the Anglican churches, in which the Church only recognizes the validity of their baptisms.

Does that same validity of Orthodox sacraments apply to Catholics? The circumstance I have in mind is when a non-confirmed Catholic converts to Orthodoxy and is chrismated. Is that a valid confirmation as far as the Church is concerned? If such a person then comes back to the Church, would they need to be confirmed in the Catholic Church or is their Orthodox chrismation valid?

Yes, it would be a fully valid Chrismation in the circumstances you describe. Likewise, a Catholic who married in the Orthodox Church without permission would be validly married.
