Hi,
Is anyone else here concerned about the validity of present day annulments? I have been alone for 14 years and am thinking about trying to obtain an annulment. The priest i talked to said it would probably be approved. I understand the church is more lenient than it used to be, although i’ve never tried for an annulment before. My question is this:
Can i confidently stake my immortal soul on the decision of the tribunal? In other words, if they grant an annulment in error, and allow me to re-marry (in the RC church), would i be in mortal sin?
