Valley Fever/Eucharist

Seeking a little info/advice from a health professional.
Recently have developed symptoms of valley fever.
Is it safe to receive the blood from the chalice? Also my wife and I are EMs, bringing the Eucharist to the sick/homebound. If I continue do I risk infecting possibly already immuno-compromised individuals? Any suggestions? Thank you.

I glanced at this web site and noticed that valley fever can also be confused with other illnesses (some of which may be contagious), so I would definitely recommend seeing your doctor for a more definitive diagnosis.
