Vandals Desecrate 12 French Catholic Churches: “Reflection of a Sick Civilization”

Take their guns and open the floodgates to those with ideals incompatible with the culture and this is what will happen. Add the fact that the Churchmen of the faith of the populace’s ancestors have failed at their jobs for the past several generations to the point where people are evermore indifferent to it and therefore hardly care enough that such events actually occur to do anything about it.

In Europe police guards more politically sensitive sites such as mosques and synagogues. The churches are pretty much left at the pitty of people.

No it’s not! It is a masked attack against the church under the face mask of these people rioting (justly or not). I have also seen a “vandalized” masonic temple. All they did was break a few chairs and tables.
 
In USA, churches would be locked when not in use for actual worship or other activities such as meetings held in the church complex. Also, cathedrals and big shrines often hire private security. Therefore it would be hard for someone to get in and vandalize, unless they went to the trouble of breaking in like a burglar (there are often alarms) or it was an inside job.

Such a sad twist of fate that actually I became attracted by the RC because the Catholic churches in my city (Bucharest).were open at longer hours than the EO churches who are guarded just like you say. So it was such a sign of faith to.be open despite the odds. But maybe, this happening like 10+ years ago things have changed and Catholic.churches should.also be protected and I shouldn’t hold.security against my own church. It’s still sad that people go to that extreme. Why? Today if you want to be -of whatever other religion or no religion - you can, it’s okay. The Church lost the political dominion she once had and some say it’s good others that it’s bad I say - ok we Christians haven’t always been text book Christians, when will the world.forgive us? How much more? Is this from God? It cannot be. God punishes in private in ways that no one is smitten and despaired that His promises aren’t real. Is this from the devil? Why would he care, he can hunt souls through his temptations even after Communion. No, this is from people who simply won’t forgive the Church while she has been as honest as David about all her mistakes. And the false prophets of today who aim to cash in the Church’s mistakes by envisioning other possible futures and get elected.
