Hey everyone. I need some prayers.

First of all, I know I am in a state of Mortal Sin. I am going to Confession tomorrow so please pray that I would make a good Confession.

Second, I am in a lot of pain right now. I have a mild headache, some bad knee pain, and also some stomach and abdominal pain. Please pray for me.

Third, it is going to storm tonight and the storms appear to be increasing in strength and organizing right now. They are not expected to be severe tonight but they may be severe tomorrow as there is a slight chance of severe weather tomorrow. The primary threats are wind damage and I believe dangerous lightning. There is also a chance of hail and heavy rain. We need the rain but since it is so dry right now, it could easily flood I would imagine. Please pray for the safety of everyone in the area as well as myself. Thank you.

And finally, please especially pray for the conversion of all sinners, including myself, my family, and my boyfriend, Darrell. Thanks!

You probably know this, but I find it’s good to see it or hear it when I need it most from someone else (a sinner in need of Grace like me) who “has been there.”…

Whatever you have done, firmly resolve to God that you will STOP and TURN AWAY from that sin right now.

Make an Act of Contrition with the firm purpose to turn away from sin:

O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of Heaven, and the pains of Hell; but most of all because I love Thee, my God, Who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen

Keep in mind what David said in the Psalms:

**The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. **

Jesus is Kind and Merciful and He will await your sincere confession. God Bless you and keep you and all around you safe through the storms - outside and inside.

I couldnt have said it better myself. I will be praying for you Holly. I went to Confession two weeks ago and boy was I in need of it. Our Lords mercy and forgiveness is so healing and is such a reminder of God`s great love for us. The devil tries to tempt us most when we are on the road to Reconcilliation/ Confession. I pray the Holy Spirit will guide you as you make a sincere confession tomorrow. I will keep you and your intentions in my ongoing prayers.
