Vasectomy/relations question from a former Protestant

20 years ago I had a vasectomy after our second son was born. It’s my biggest regret to this day, and my wife’s as well, but that’s another matter.

5 years ago I swam the Tiber and became a Catholic (one of the best things I’ve ever done!!!). My wife is now a revert to the Church, so a two-fer! 🙂

Question: despite my zero percent childmaking ability (plus my wife being post-menopausal), the same rules still apply to ‘relations’, correct? To not behave in a way that precludes life? Hey, Abraham’s Sarah was barren for a long time, but they presumably still respected life, and look what happened there. 😉 Just confirming.
 
Vasectomies can reverse themselves, in rare circumstances. Yes, the same rules apply. God can do whatever he wants, and occasionally, he does.

Correct. The couple must still engage in completed conjugal acts (i.e. intercourse). Other types of stimulation to climax cannot be substituted in place of the conjugal act (oral, manual, etc).
