Could someone who knows please help me find more information about the statue in the briefing hall at the recent Vatican summit.
I’m interested in it’s origin and creative intent. (I’d prefer not to go over speculation and theories.)

Without any moral judgement whatsoever, not knowing the context, I find it creepy and hideous.

Well, yes I agree.
IMHO it’s not attractive art - maybe it’s not meant to be.
Does anyone know where it came from?

I thought maybe with the horns (are those horns?) and the split, it might represent evil dividing the church?
