Since she is a mystic and according to scholars one of the most amazing in the Christian tradition, recent attempts by Blessed Pope John Paul II, Benedict XVI and Francis to extend knowledge of her throughout the Christian world variously by using her for public meditations, mentioning her in a general audience address and now canonizing her by an extraordinary method, is highly commendable.
Clearly the Holy Spirit wants people to watch this space and read St. Angela’s works!
