Cardinal Tauran accentuated the need for inter-religious dialogue today, saying: “In a dangerous world so full of walls of separation, physical or moral, I think it is more than ever necessary that religions, despite their differences, together promote love and peace.”
I should say thumb up to the Vatican and that sanity still prevails in this mad world. In doing so she is taking the narrow road whereas others could easily choose the easier and convenient way out. She is exercising Christian leadership with an increasing lone voice to be heard in the ever noisy world. It reminds us of the cross that Jesus once had to take and no matter how precipitous it was he never gave up and treaded on to achieve his mission.
