I have no idea what this is about, and the story did not help me much. But I am beside mysef with admiration for Bishop Ignacio Carrasco de Paula, who is clearly a world leader in the art of not really apologising:
He acknowledged that the PAL announcement "contained unfortunate phrasing which, if misunderstood, could have offended the sensibilities of some persons.”
