Vatican Seeking Spiritual Moms for Priests

And Dioceses Willing to Offer Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration

VATICAN CITY, DEC. 11, 2007 (Zenit.org).- The Vatican Congregation for the Clergy is looking for people willing to offer Eucharistic adoration for the priesthood and “consecrated feminine souls” ready to become spiritual mothers of priests. A new Web site from that Vatican dicastery offers explanations and resources both for the campaign to begin Eucharistic adoration and for those who would like to be spiritual mothers of priests, following the example of the Virgin Mary.
The initiative was convoked with a letter Saturday, the feast of the Immaculate Conception, signed by Cardinal Cláudio Hummes and by Archbishop Mauro Piacenza, respectively the prefect and secretary of the congregation.

That almost sounds like idiom for gathering a new religious community for that purpose. At least it does for me, but, I am admittedly biased.

I do not know if that is the case, as I am married and a grandmother that would be more than willing to do this. Although I pray for priests continually.🙂
 
Hi there again Cloisters…a religious community specifically for the purpose would be a wondrous blessing indeed, but I think it could also be individuals who would be willing to commit regular time in Adoration for the reparation of faults and sanctification of priests most especially - even perhaps offer their whole lives whether it be religious or secular…
