His message seems to be that It is about the legalization of drugs. If we had legalize drugs, then the black community would not have paid the price for the war on drugs.
Vischer asserted that the “War on Drugs” unnecessarily militarized the American police and instituted harsher penalties on black offenders over white offenders.
His talking-points echoed that of Ava DuVernay’s documentary “13th” on Netflix.

That’s not what I got from his YouTube video…

As manufacturing moved towards the suburbs, minorities who either lost their jobs or were unemployed couldn’t travel to those jobs. This lead to a downward spiral of poverty, crime, and drug use. Which, is exactly what happened in my city…

My town, which is 42% White and 41% Black, was predominately steel production. After everything packed up and went overseas, the local economy tanked and crime shot up. Unless you had a functioning car, there’s no way that you could travel 26 miles to the nearest manufacturing plant.

Now those jobs are gone too and EVERYONE is poor.

Video doesn’t say although he bring up the point that 1 in 4 blacks are incarcerated. It is brought up in article.
