I am glad I have given you some amusement, life is short after all. You can choose which forum to go to where others share your beliefs. However, recommending such sites to those who have no idea is not acceptable.

It’s either laugh or get annoyed.

This is what I’m saying: maybe you might want to check with a moderator because I have seen threads with Fisheater topics closed because they get very heated and full of vitriol, but I have not seen a moderator say that the site should not be linked to.

I think before we say that a link to Fisheaters is not acceptable on CAF, we should be sure.

If a moderator says that is the case, then fine.

Yes and what they say is that the resources are excellant. I find nothing in the rules that would preclude this site being recommended here for the resources.

Many there are sedevacantists.

They believe for whatever reason that the Holy Father is not really the Pope, and that the office of Pope is currently vacant.

There are many websites and groups which advertise themselves as “Traditionalist” and are rally sedevacantist, either openly or covertly. I wouldn’t touch any of that with the proverbial ninety nine and a half foot pole.

The difference here is that sedevacantist posts are against the rules here. They are not at other websites. The former is true to the authority of the Holy Father. The latter is not.

You are wrong sir, there are sedevacantists on that site, but I’ve spoken to sedevacantists on this forum too, I’ve also spoken to self-proclaimed atheist-Catholics on this website. So am I supposed to judge an entire website because a few people are bad. Read the statement and purpose of the website: fisheaters.com/contact.html . Most of the people are actually like me, they believe everything the Church teaches, they love the Holy Father, but they prefer the Tridentine Mass, and think that there is a lot of modernism that has crept into the Church. I do prefer the Latin Mass but I also go to the Novus Ordo every day that I am not working (except this week because I just had my wisdom teeth removed so I’m staying home) and I love the Novus Ordo too. I think the Novus Ordo can be said in a beautiful manner, but I have been to Novus Ordo Masses where I wanted to get up and walk out of the door and had it not been for the Body of Christ that I wanted to receive, and the fact that I had to fulfill my obligation, then I would have. There are people with disordered views on fisheaters, and on this forum, but there is a WHOLE LOT of good on the fisheaters website, and the vast majority of people on the forum are NOT sedevacantists.
