In the prayer, Veni Creator, what does the first sentence in the third paragraph mean:

Thou in **Thy Sevenfold gifts **art known;
The finger of God’s hand we own;
The promise of the Father, Thou!
Who dost the tongue with power endow.

What does “Thy Sevenfold gifts” mean?
 
Possibly the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit:
  1. Wisdom
  2. Understanding
  3. Counsel
  4. Fortitude
  5. Knowledge
  6. Piety
  7. Fear of the Lord
