Veni Sancte Spiritus - Where Else in the Liturgy?

Where else have I heard Veni Sanctus Spiritus in the liturgy besides Pentacost.

Is is part of Advent? I thought the part “Bend that which is inflexible, warm that which is chilled” etc., might have been part of a Eucharistic prayer but couldn’t find it in my missal.

Any thoughts? Is it used elsewhere in the liturgy or am I mistaken?

It was sung at the priesthood ordination I went to the Friday before Pentecost Sunday.
 
You could also have it as a hymn for Trinity Sunday. I like to have one hymn for the Father, one for the Son and one for the Holy Spirit, if possible.
 
Every Confirmation ceremony is a celebration of Pentecost and the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Confirmandi.

I think you (or maybe just subsequent commenters) are confusing Veni Sancte Spiritus with Veni Creator Spiritus. The first, with the lyrics you mention, is the Sequence assigned for Pentecost. It is definitely not assigned for any other day, and although I have never heard of it being done I suppose one could, theoretically, sing it on some other day if one really wanted to. The second is a hymn often sung on Pentecost (it is assigned to the Office for that day), but also frequently sung at confirmations, ordinations, papal conclaves, and the like.

As you can see, this hymn is based on the sequence but it is not the sequence. It has an ostinato refrain that goes “Veni Sancte Spiritus” and repeats over the verses.
 
It’s the sequence for Pentecost. That’s it.
However it’s my favorite prayer and I say it every day.
Could it be you have some lingering memories from hearing it as a child?

Also, the line “on our dryness pour your dew” reminds me of a controversial phrase for the new Mass translation that said something about “the dew fall” as an analogy for the Holy Spirit. Trautman pushed hard to get it nixed and so I don’t expect it to be in the new words, but it would be lovely if it were. The imagery is appropriate, but it also harkens back to this prayer.
 
I think I have heard it at the Easter Vigil during Confirmation.
