Reading Scripture can be great but if you’re in clinical depression you might need a physicians (name removed by moderator)ut and meds.The physican also works for God-seek help wherever you can.During my deepest depression reading scripture meant nothing- it did not compute- i was too numb.i knew i was getting better when i could read the bible with pleasure again.I have looked, but have not found any. That does not mean they aren’t there, though.
Thank you for the advice. I do have a therapist and psychiatrist. Working on depression and faith is what I’m working on in therapy.

They are illuminating though not all are Catholic, some are Christian that do cite Catholic sources though so on these sites best to stick with their chapters on depression. They may help.
