I like this picture. It really tells us a lot about Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood does not think that the unborn child is really an unborn child or a baby. They think it is just a “clump of cells”. How mistaken they are!

Um - isn’t it reasonable for a pregnant woman who considers she has a fetus who is not yet a human inside her to act to protect the fetus so she ends up with a healthy human? In the same way, a man who wants healthy children will protect himself from substances that might cause damage to his sperm, without ever thinking a sperm is a human being.
The graphic is just silly. It will convince no one of the opposing view, and will embarrass thinking pro-life people.

The whole arguments of the humanists regarding embryos not being human falls apart the moment one thinks about genetic manipulation of embryos. Then suddenly everyone starts, that this is a big NO and so immoral. But if its just a bunch of cells, what is the matter with modifying its genetic material?
And why shouldn’t a women have a right to modify one of her “organs” or whatever an embryo exactly is?
If you want to get realy drastic and shock someone who claims its not a human, ask him what he would think about women who after abortion try to sell the remains to sick bastard who want to eat embryos for dinner. Could not be anything wrong with that, that bunch of cell is property of the women and if it gets extracted from her body, why shouldn’t she be free to use it the way she thinks is best?

Another really bad argument; people feel equally repulsed by the though of eating healthy but amputated body parts, or food made from human blood when no killing is involved. People do not like the thought of eating human tissue.
People who support legal access to safe abortion for women are often personally opposed to abortion. arguments like this convince them of the absence of common ground.

As i understood it was about people who think an embryo is no human. Those people normally have no issue with abortion.
And when such people suddenly feel disgusted about eating embryos the same way they feel disgusted about eating parts of humans, one can argue that this shows them, that they themselves do not believe this “embryo is not human”, because otherwise they would not feel the same disgust.
With people who are personally against abortion there is no need to convince them, that embryos are somewhat human.

No one believes that an embryo does not consist of human tissue. It is whether it is a human being that people argue over. My arm is human tissue, but it is not a human being. My cells grown in a dish are human tissue, but not a human being.

Your arm is of human tissue, but will never be anything but a part of a complete human being. Your cells growing in a dish will also never be a complete human being. However, the human embryo will one day be a complete human being. Neither at the embryo stage, nor at say any stage inside the womb, will it be a complete human being. Even immediately after birth it is not a complete human being. Some societies even considered young children as incomplete human beings and therefore disposable. The point is, the “completeness” of a being’s humanness is an arbitrary construct. The potential for being complete is there from the moment of conception and therefore must, logically, be considered as a potentially complete human being and so worthy of protection. It can also be argued that none of us is ever “complete”, that we are always developing in various ways, just as is a foetus. Some of us never develop fully in all possible ways, yet, as adults, we are protected by law. Why is it, then, that someone can say that at a certain stage, an undeveloped human being is not worthy of protection under the law?

Unwittingly pointed out why abortion is unreasonable – it sure does not render you a healthy human being!
Killing someone is the greatest harm you can do to a person. And when a mother kills the son/daughter in her womb (her offspring is gendered from conception), she harmed her child in the greatest possible way available. It would be nonsensical and self-refuting to think that it is ok to willfully kill a fetus, but not ok to willfully harm a fetus.

Planned Parenthood has put so much effort into convincing young mothers that abortion is okay and saying that “the fetus” is not really a baby, that they have completely contradicted themsleves. They used to push hard for healthy habits during pregnancy. WHY?
Why should a mother-to-be change her lifestyle to be healthier for a baby that “isn’t really a baby”? Why should she even consider herself a mother-to-be if she is taking seriously what Planned Parenthood says about “fetuses”?
All you have to do is a quick google search to find where Planned Parenthood’s money and efforts go. They are a major large-scale abortion factory and they put most of their efforts these days into convincing women that their babies are not real humans. To then suggest that women who want to give birth to these “fetuses” should change to a healthier lifestyle during pregancy is a complete contradiction. If it’s not really a baby, a human person, why be concerned with how it turns out, with how it may be affected by the substances we take in? The fact is, Planned Parenthood knows that these are baby humans and need to be cared for as such. But they also have an agenda to push, so they keep trying to convince women that it’s okay to murder their babies…by contradicting their own knowledge and calling these babies by a term that humans don’t connect with.

The message that graphic sends is not illogical – on the contrary. It illustratively takes the claim that the fetus “is not a human being”, to its logical and practical conclusions.
The actual illogical stance is the one that maintains that abortion is morally fine, but it is not morally fine for a pregnant woman to ignore standard health precautions and be wreckless with what she puts in her body. That’s illogical and inconsistent.
I posted the graphic onto my FB wall, and I’ll write here what I did in response to one of the commenters who like you, objected to the poster.
The pro-lifer on the other hand, is consistent by maintaining that a pregnant woman has the moral obligation to act in a manner that respects the health of the child she carries inside of her.
