I beg of you my Brothers and Sisters to pray the Novena to The Infant Child Jesus!

I am confident your prayers will be answered, as mine were, are, and are continued to be answered.

Novena Prayer to the Miraculous Infant of Prague
Dearest Jesus, Little Infant of Prague, how tenderly You love us! Your greatest joy is to dwell among us and to bestow Your blessing upon us. Though I am not worthy that You should help me, I feel drawn to You by love because You are kind and merciful.

So many who turned to You with confidence have received graces and had their petitions granted. Behold me as I come before You to lay open my heart to You with its prayers and hopes. I present to You especially this request, which I enclose in Your loving Heart: (Mention your request).

Rule over me, dear Infant Jesus, and do with me and mine according to Your Holy Will, for I know that in Your Divine Wisdom and Love You will arrange everything for the best. Do not withdraw Your hand from me, but protect and bless me forever.

I pray You, all-powerful and gracious Infant Jesus, for the sake of Your Sacred Infancy, in the Name of Your Blessed Mother Mary who cared for You with such tenderness, and by the greatest reverence with which Saint Joseph carried You in his arms, help me in my needs. Make me truly happy with You, dearest Infant, in time and in eternity, and I shall thank You forever with all my heart. Amen.

I just prayed this too and let me tell you, I was moved by tears as I reflected through it, word by word as I prayed.

I know this seems like such a stupid question but what is the difference between a “novena” and just a regular prayer? And why is it “Infant Jesus of Prague” ?

What is the length of time that you say this novena? Is it 9 days as catherine m says?
 
Yes, a novena is nine days of prayer.

A Novena is said for 9 days for a specific intention. The story of the Infant Jesus of Prague is a very beautiful one, I am sure that some smart person on this forum can direct you to a website, TAN puts out a wonderful little book about this also there are some other Novena booklets that give the story. God Bless You.

thanks for the prayer

i have a very special intension to make. It happened yesterday and still i’m struggling to accept it. I really need your prayers. I’m really fed up of life now. Pls help to overcome this.

Technically some novenas aren’t nine days - there’s one to St Terese of Lisieux that is five days, and we can count the Five First Saturdays to the Immaculate Heart of Mary as well as various 30-day novenas and even a 54-day Rosary Novena for major prayer intentions.

But the idea is that it is a prayer that is regularly repeated a set number of times over a set timeframe (daily for five/nine/thirty days or first Saturday every month for five consecutive months)

the promise of the infant jesus says the more you honor me the more I will bless you.
