I wear a St. Michael medal with Guardian Angel on the reverse side. It can’t hurt to have all the protection you can get. Faith is very important, but these saints are doing double duty for us. Don’t be afraid to fly to their protection and intercession.🙂
 
I like the Brown Scapular and consider it a very good sacramental, Saint Pope John Paul II wore one. I also like the St Benedict Medal and consider it a very good sacramental.

I don’t believe so. I believe the Scapular or St Benedicts medal etc will help even those whose faith is weak, as I believe the Sacramental carry with them intercessory prayers regardless of whether one prays them or not, as the very act of wearing them or carrying them I believe is akin to asking Mary or St Benedict to intercede on your behalf.

Of course not, and actually wearing medals or scapulars and having pictures of the saints around help to remind you of all the goodness and help out there, and can end up restoring your faith. The worst thing is to ignore God and his army of saints and angels.🙂

My favorite sacramental for the home is Epiphany holy water. The only place I know of to obtain it is from an FSSP parish during the week of the feast of the Epiphany (in January), since bottles are given to the faithful at the parishes at that time. If there’s an FSSP parish near you, you could always try contacting them to see if they have any Epiphany water on hand that they can give you.

My understanding of holy water is that it’s not the water itself which has any power, but rather it’s the prayers of the Church which are attached to the water. Elaborate and lengthy prayers are attached to the blessing of Epiphany water by the priest. Here’s an FSSP article on the subject. Scroll down to page four for info about “Epiphany Blessings.” This water is very good for warding off evil.

No one has mentioned the Miraculous Medal yet?

I wear a Miraculous Medal and a St. Benedict Medal. Someone told me that these are the ONLY medals that the Church will verify as protecting one against evil. I am not saying that medals of the saints are not powerful, but apparently the MM and St.B medals are at the top.

Edit: I want to add the caveat that the Scapular is very powerful.I have a very special devotion to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. I just didn’t consider it a “medal” when I wrote my post

For your home, you can have a blessed Sacred Heart of Jesus image or statue.

You can have an Enthronement as well.

The Enthronement is very meaningful! The family gathers around the Sacred Heart picture and says a prayer together every day.
 
The Agnus Dei (no, not the liturgical chant) is very difficult to find as Popes are no longer consecrating them. However, it is a potent sacramental and anyone with the rare grace of possessing one ought to hold tightly onto it: sacramentals.org/agnusdei.htm.

All types of Sacramental but I would suggest a cross, holy water, holy oil, rosary, blessed salt, prayers, faith and holy relics.
