Very sick newborn

Our niece, AnnaSophia Berry, was just flown into a Denver hospital due to a hole in her heart. She was put on oxygen since she was born, because her lungs wouldn’t function properly, and now they just discovered that it’s because of a hole in her heart. She is only 10 days old, so if you could keep her in your prayers that would be fantastic!

We’re doing a Novena to St. Jude.

St. Jude, you witnessed the healing power of our Lord Jesus. You saw his compassion for the sick and dying. You yourself touched the sick, shared the sorrows of the mournful, and encouraged the despairing. You received this authority and healing power to work wonders, to cure the incurable, to make people whole. We ask you to intercede with our brother, Jesus, to send his saving grace to heal the sickness and suffering of AnnaSophia to uplift her despondent spirits, and to instill hope in her family’s hearts.

It’s very hard for Ron and I as well, because all we can do is wait for the next phone call and/or email to keep us informed. I’ve sent an email to several church friends and clergy members at St. Brigid (where I go), requesting an urgent prayer.

I will say the rosary for baby Anna,this morning,and keep her in my daily prayer.
 
:gopray: Father God we lift this special little one to You. Our heart breaks yet we are mindful that You are still in control. Be with the doctors, work through them Lord. Grant them knowledge and wisdom. Support the family Lord, continue to strengthen them and hold them tight during this time.
