I am looking for somewhere online that I could buy a cassock or alb for the best price possible. Preferably in Canada, the UK, or Ireland, but anywhere in the US close to the border would be perfect as well! Anyone have any recommendations? What I’m looking for is not at Cenacle.co.uk or Aquinas and More, unfortunately!

Price more than anything. I have a $100 (credit card)gift card, and I want to buy myself a new cassock or alb. I suppose design is a factor, but so is quality. Sorry for the grey area, I didn’t have time to post a full description.

A cassock as in, a Roman cassock?
 
It depends on what you are going to sue it for. If you are a seminarian it may just be best to borrow cassocks and then save up to buy a good year rounder cassock. If you would like a cassock to serve in then you can get cheap cassocks for under your price in America dollars. I’m not sure about the conversion process to Canadian though. God bless

Yes, a Roman cassock, but not one suited for a priest. Altar servers for the TLM (here) wear a monastic alb, or a Roman/Anglican-style cassock, with a cotta. I want to know if it’s possible to find one under 100CAD. My old one was ruined. Now mind you, I bought my old one for $80, but the church bought it for me, and the store that it was bought from is now closed. We have no religious supply stores here.
 
Yeah, definitely don’t go House of Hansen. It will take several months for you to get it. I would just go for a cheap cassock with snaps for buttons.
 
If you are looking for someplace a bit closer to the border, you might want to check out this place. It’s in Detroit, Michigan. The prices are reasonable. I’ve made several purchases there and have been pleased.

Sorry - I didn’t mean it to be funny. It’s just that I help care for our Pastor Emeritus and he’s been gonig to them for over 50 years - since they were Hansen Brothers. And, maybe it’s that long relationship he has, but any time I call on his behalf, we get great pricing, awesome service and very quick turnarounds.

I’m certinaly not an expert in this area though.
 
The cheapest place I have found is www.autom.com . The are very inexpensive. some our Atar boys have gotten their cassocks and surplices from them.

Most of these companies are back-ordered, There is a huge demand for these items.

According to their catalogue, their non-priest (non-lacy) cheapest surplice is around $ 48 CDN and their cassock is around $77 CDN/$86 CDN (big chested). that’s not counting taxes (Booo 13% HST)
 
This is not in Canada, the UK or Ireland, but India. Anyone know about this crowd? It’s extremely inexpensive, but like “Catholic Liturgicals”, I’d presume that they’re well-made.

I live in the UK but have some Cottas from a Polish Ebay seller. They are of very good quality and very cheap only about £40 for a cotta with lace, if you bought that in the UK it would be over £100!

Its all brand new and they do Chasubles, Cassocks etc…

Yes but no.

I started a thread on another forum believe or not just last week, having forgotten about the one I originally posted. Someone suggested it to me, and I still didn’t remember it before I saw this thread updated!

It’s funny how stupid one can get over a few years
