Please help me pray for the victims of domestic violence. I pray for those who are currently enduring the pain and suffering of violence caused by someone they love. Help them find a way to get out of the situations they are in. I also pray for those who have lost their lives because of domestic violence. I pray for their families healing.

Lord God, hear my prayer!
 
Lord, mercifully hear our prayers for all victims of domestic violence.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Prayer for Domestic Violence

God of peace, there are many places and many people who do not experience your peace. Right now there are many, many women and children who live under the dark weight of the fear of violence right in their own homes. We pray for your protection, and for wisdom for friends and officials to help bring that right protection to them. We pray for the many men who themselves feel powerless and confused about their relationships. We ask that you would help them find healthy ways to work out their frustrations and to find hope without resorting to destructive impulses. God, work in our country to stem this epidemic. We ask for your perfect peace. In Jesus’ Name, we make our prayer. Amen.
 
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen…

Prayer Against Domestic Violence

Lord God,
Your own Son was delivered into the hands of the wicked,
yet he prayed for his persecutors
and overcame hatred with the blood of the cross.
Grant those who stand against violence peace of mind
and a renewed faith in your protection and care.

Protect us all from the violence of others,
keep us safe from the weapons of hate,
and restore to us tranquility and peace.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer Against Domestic Violence

O, Lord, our society is struggling with the stress and breakdown of our families due to many causes, one of which is violence. Violence can be physical, emotional and verbal. We are all Your children and deserve love and respect. Please help us to take a stand if we suspect someone is in a violent situation and to assist them in finding refuge, counsel, and the help they need to learn Your will for them. We will always couple our actions with humble prayers for Your guidance. We will also strive to aid the victims in the family who witness the violence towards a loved one, in order to try to break this cycle of behavior. We beseech You to help us find the courage to do what is needed to walk the path Your Son showed us.

In His name, Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.
