I am engaged and I am wondering if it would be wrong of me to go into VS and purchase some wedding night/honeymoon lingere. Nothing dominatrex, but something sweet to make things special.
Well, the spending money there would be, as it promotes a sensual womenhood to the country through commercials, promotes women’s choice and abortion, and is above and beyond the simple sweet and special kind of clothing.I am engaged and I am wondering if it would be wrong of me to go into VS and purchase some wedding night/honeymoon lingere. Wow, whether Bry’s post was based on fact or not, your’s was a little less than charitable. I know this post is off topic as well, but let’s not be rude about such things, shall we. God bless.BryPGuy89,
Start another thread to discuss whether or not VS supports PP or even has an opinion on abortion as a corporation. Stay on topic, and if you do bring up a ridiculous allegation, then back it up with some facts. I did my own search on VS, PP, and abortion and found no fact in your statement. All you have to do is do a search on google before you spout off.
Being as we have a Victoria Secret call center here and I know a lot of people who work there I think the only objection is to the way they promote their products.I am engaged and I am wondering if it would be wrong of me to go into VS and purchase some wedding night/honeymoon lingere. It is a fact that Intimate Brands - makers of Victoria’s Secret - do promote abortion and homosexuality. Try another search on Google. I had no problem finding the connection.BryPGuy89,

There is nothing unsavory about a bride wanting to look attractive for her husband or wanting to feel attractive herself. No, it is not a fact.
Since you had no problem finding connections, provide the links to prove me wrong.
And, come on, does anyone really believe that people buying lingerie have strictly “savory” intentions. If you want to stay “savory” buy cotton nightgowns and wear sweatsocks to bed.

See who they give their money to - a very large portion went to the Gay & Lesbian Alliance.
I also found their name on pro-life boycott lists.
You obviously don’t shop at VS, most of their items are extremely tasteful and their quality is impeccable. Buy something at JC Penney and not only will it look like it came from JC Penney but it will also be unwearable in just a few months because of poor quality. And I agree with the other poster - you can find tasteful lingerie. A woman can definitely make herself attractive for her husband without looking like a tramp.
