On Saturday, the day before Mother’s Day, TN, pro-lifers organized a funeral “Procession of Healing” to commemorate 3,100 babies killed by abortion in Knox Co. last year.
Between 300-350 cars participated in the funeral procession that wove through Knoxville. Must have been quite something. Watch a VolunteerTV.com news video by clicking on the graphic below:
Good idea. Thanks for sharing!
May they rest in peace. +
May Our Blessed Lady help those affected by these abortions, and intercede before Jesus to grant the grace of a changed heart and mind to those who have supported, undergone, or performed abortions, in the past and in the present.
I live in the Diocese of Knoxville and a good friend of mine was Not allowed to participate in the car funeral procession because on the side of his truck he had a sign that said,
“You cannot be Pro-Life and vote for a candidate that is not”.
He was told that sign might cause problems and possible unrest, leading to violence and that this was not the intent of the procession.
He was told that if he removed the sign, he could participate, for which he refused to do.
