They had not been allowed to have mass. More than a thousand Catholic priests died in the Dachau Nazi concentration camp. Saint Maximilian Kolbe died in such a death camp. With the fall of the Nazis, these priests found themselves freed after starvation and terrible suffering. Now at last they are there at mass.
