Here’s a new video explaining why opposing same-sex marriage is not “bigotry.”

Good video. Matt Fradd seems to be the speaker, he’s got good talks on other issues as well, such as pornography and a great one about the existence of God. Search his name in YouTube for more info. Here’s a new video explaining why opposing same-sex marriage is not “bigotry.”

He’s very likable, but I couldn’t find the video on the existence of God you mentioned.Good video. Matt Fradd seems to be the speaker, he’s got good talks on other issues as well, such as pornography and a great one about the existence of God. Search his name in YouTube for more info.
God Is Real by Matt FraddHe’s very likable, but I couldn’t find the video on the existence of God you mentioned.
Do you have a link perchance?
It also makes clear that rejection of SSM need not be born of religious convictions. Here’s a new video explaining why opposing same-sex marriage is not “bigotry.”

Correct. It also makes clear that rejection of SSM need not be born of religious convictions.
He presents two “alternative” views of marriage. I think the 2nd one has become a widely acceptable alternative to the traditional understanding out of a sense of perceived compassion or perceived justice. You might think civil unions addressed that, but then the call for “compassion and justice” moved to the subjective from the objective. And so it was held to lack compassion and to deny justice to deem there to be any distinction between the marriage of a man and a woman and same sex alternatives.
The video makes no references to the Bible at all.…For some reason, us Christians are looking for a way to justify our reasons for being against gays and prove that we aren’t “bigots.”
Really? I’m against all sin, including the ones I commit everyday. Now, if a gay is asking for forgiveness and striving to rid himself of his homosexuality then I say I am not against him and will pray night and day for him. But if he is not, then I will still pray for him, but I will not accept him until he truly repents and I wont’t change the word of God to fit the gays twisted beliefs. We Christians aren’t against “gays”. .
Then say just that, then you won’t need a paragraph to explain yourself.… I’m against all sin…
I understand what you’re saying, but I felt I should explain myself since many Christians are scared to call sin what it really is. And this especially pertains to queers since too many Christians are excepting them because that is what society says. Then say just that, then you won’t need a paragraph to explain yourself.
Nowhere did Jesus teach in the Gospels that being a total bigot against any singular group is part of his plan for the world. Using derogatory terms when writing or speaking about LGBT humans is not in keeping with the most important commandment. You are in the minority when it comes to how the majority of American and European Christains feel and relate to those of a different sexual orientation. It’s really hard when the world changes over a period of time yet, you fail to realize that 1950 is not 2016.I understand what you’re saying, but I felt I should explain myself since many Christians are scared to call sin what it really is. Where’s the derogatory term?Nowhere did Jesus teach in the Gospels that being a total bigot against any singular group is part of his plan for the world. Today I found out that the speaker is Not Matt Fradd but rather Patrick Langrell. To me, they sound very much alike. Must be because the accent is similar, but the tone sounds similar to me too, and other stuff.Good video. Matt Fradd seems to be the speaker…
Quite right. Except that we continuously get arguments such as this:It also makes clear that rejection of SSM need not be born of religious convictions.
And:It’s a good video, but I don’t need any video to tell me what the bible says.
And derogatory comments such as:…and I wont’t change the word of God to fit the gays twisted beliefs.
If anyone doesn’t think that is derogatory (Chris), then you are a million miles away from understanding anything about this subject. And this especially pertains to queers…
Understood. Religion also provides a basis. It’s just that it’s not the only basis.Quite right. Except that we continuously get arguments such as this…
So what does the Q in LGBTQI etc, stand for then?Quite right. Except that we continuously get arguments such as this:
And:
And derogatory comments such as:
If anyone doesn’t think that is derogatory (Chris), then you are a million miles away from understanding anything about this subject.
I’m not sure how people conduct themselves where you come from, but where I come from, a comment like that might well result in someone getting a smack in the mouth.
Such a naive comment. So what does the Q in LGBTQI etc, stand for then?
They call themselves “queers”.
Therefore it is not derogatory.
Wow, you have totally lost it.Such a naive comment.
I know a lot of black people that use a particular word to describe themselves. They have taken a word that epitomises all the hatred and bigotry they have suffered and claimed it FOR THEMSELVES. It’s a word that my daughter will not allow me to use even in context. And you are not allowed to use it, either.
The fact that you don’t know this about certain words that people use to describe gay people tells me enough about you that I can safely discount any further comments you have to make on the subject. Because you know nothing about it.
