Bewildered by this part of your post. Comes across as somewhat uncharitable and condecending. Would seem to me we are called to love God, a deeply emotional state, as well as to know him.

If this were the mass, with set postures and stances for the various parts of the liturgy, then yes I would agree, and would certainly endorse uniformity of worship. I think there is a very valid point to be made there. Notwithstanding, even within the mass, I often see others reciting the Our Father with open hands, not something I’m used to doing, but it doesn’t bother me.
I pray on my knees, sitting, standing, lying on my bed hands joined, opened , arms crossed, holding a book, even sometimes when I’m driving. While what we ‘do’ externally can give expression to our prayer, surely its our interior disposition that really counts?

We should indeed be Blest if every Church in the world could witness such “Eucharistic Adoration” complete with singing/chanting, swaying, and upraised hands!
“Adoration is our showing God our Love for Him!”

No kidding! We have a video here of younger Catholics engaged and praising God! So what, it breaks the mold a little bit (a mold that is small-t tradition at the most, and is more like a long-standing pious activity).
