Vigil Mass on Dec 31 valid for Jan 1?

My church has announced a Vigil Mass will be celebrated on 31 Dec. Will it be valid for 01 Jan?

Yes, it will be valid for the day of obligation of the Solemnity of Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God.

Code of Canon Law:
Can. 1248 §1. A person who assists at a Mass celebrated anywhere in a Catholic rite either on the feast day itself or in the evening of the preceding day satisfies the obligation of participating in the Mass.
