Well I couldn’t find any links online (Although I’m sure you could find some if you look hard enough) but in the new issue of GamePro, there is a section about the new and violent Christian based game producers video games (It’s a bit of an oxymoron). One such game in example is titled “Armageddon” and although deatails are low (still early in the games phase, although there are screenshots available) it appears to be that you can fight as several diffrent people (relgious based) in an attempt to stop the Anti-Christ during the Apocalypse I guess who is trying to take over the world. The game appears to be quite violent with machine guns and attack vehicles and all that jazz, it’s a bit of a Halo copy actually. I can’t be the only person who finds this hilarious right? It’s probably a step in the right direction despire any inmorality you can conjure however, any sort of religious game keeping things squeaky clean would uterly fail at sales.

Jees I had some bad grammar in there, all well, its 11:30 at night what are you gonna do.

Well, the game doesn’t even have a publisher yet, so I guess it’s still up in the air. According to an interview at gamecloud, one of the missions is going to take place in the vatican. Hmm, fundamentalist Christian making a game with the villain being the AntiChrist, with a level in the Vatican, why am I not hopeful?
Anyhow, from a technical standpoint the game is looking good. The screen shots look a little blurry, but that might just be the web host. I want to know were they get some of their ideas. I mean a game where you can play as a Muslim and pack a car full of C4. Where did that come from?
To sum up, it looks like a cross between Halo, Half-life 2, and First to Fight. I might buy it, but with Civilization 4, Age of Empires 3, Starcraft: Ghost, and Call of Duty 2 coming out this year, I see myself as being broke for the next six months.

Yours in Christ,
Thursday

Yeah Ages of Empires looks nice, I may get it around when it comes out, I’m already broke now though so I don’t know how I’ll afford it.

I posted this along time ago too! NO ONE REPLIED! WHANNNNNNNNN!

You just don’t have enough e-respect points, that’s quite obviously why.

No, it’s not that at all. It is a big conspiracy, aren’t you in on it Ghost? Oh, maybe I shouldn’t have said conspiracy out loud, the sidebars have ears…

Yours in Christ,
Thursday

P.S.
I hate it when I use smilies! Why do I use smilies?

YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO TALK ABOUT THE PLAN! The whole project could be compromised now!

Violence in and of itself isn’t always wrong in movies and games. As long as it has a point. The Passion of the Christ was one of the most violent movies, but the violence had a point to make about our salvation.
