*😃 Had to tell you what happened, from my previous thread.

Long story short–I would like to branch out my territory, and start calling for other states. I had a great go of things in Florida, but the dynamic has changed, and I won’t bore you with the details. But, suffice to say–I would like to branch out of Florida, to market for other states. Well, we let someone go a few months ago, out of our western territory (CA, Oregon, Arizona and Seattle would be the territory) I talked with my boss’ boss just now, and she said that I can have those states! AND, then I asked her about working out of my home…and she said, that is definitely an option, if you’d like that.

I said…this conversation is going much easier than I had planned. She laughed.

It’s not something that will happen over night…but I at least planted the seed.

I am not abandoning Florida, but we have new managers, and it’s just not working as smoothly as it used to…The regional person is awesome, and I’ve been very successful here, but it seems like we have overhired salespeople, where everyone is trampling over everyone else…that never works in sales. So, it’s time to change things up a bit. I’ve been patient, I’ve prayed about it, and I really feel like I needed to say something today.

So…it will be kind of cool to have the western territory of the U.S. as my territory…

Anyways–just wanted to share…I didn’t waste any time since posting my original thread! :D*

Exactly, I’m excited–My concern is how the florida region will take this, they are used to 90% attention of my time, but now, it will shrink to 50%. I don’t want to get into all the reasons behind this choice, but I have to look out for what’s in the best interest of my family and me…I appreciate your insights to this in the other thread. It won’t be overnight, but I’m hoping by end of summer, this can be in play. 🙂

I wish:D I am hopeful before end of summer…reason being, it will take time to shift my territory, but I will still have Florida as my region too…I hope I can juggle it all well. :o
In my pj’s – anything is possible. I will have 1 hour more to do actual work instead of the 2 commuting trips I do per day! That’ll help right there…
