Hi there,

I’m new to this forum and I have a question , I’m not sure if anyone can answer perhaps not but it’s worth a try here goes…

I have visions at times it’s something I have since I was a small child .Recently I visit my parish priest a few weeks ago and as we were speaking I saw with my minds eye if you will, 4 angels and they were outside his window in the room we were speaking the four angels were in a prayer. I mention to him what I saw , however I was perplexed as to why they were there . Usually when I have visions and if there is no answer their will be eventually.

However in the last few days I found out that the church I was going to just recently have been having some strong issues ’ I dont want to say’ but has nothing to do with him directly but I want to know what the significants of the 4 angels? Is there any. At the moment I believe the answer why they were there the angels was to be there for him ? I’m unsure… Im catholic but never was one that went to church frequently…

Is there any significance to the 4 angels and in particular why 4?

The most I can say is that four is the number of the world symbolically, and that perhaps they were outside your priest’s window because they were praying for him to be able to handle some kind of worldly/secular issue the church is having. Maybe God, through the angels, wants you to tell him that he should take care of it personally somehow - even if it isn’t fully his responsibility that it’s happening in any way.

the only one who can guide you is a good priest, your confessor or spiritual director, who knows you. You should confide all such experiences to him for discernment. No one here is competent to answer your question.

Thank you for your answer . I thought so myself it makes perfect sense right now at that time no. It’s so odd that I ended up seeing him speaking to him of the very thing of my visions and yet the angels appear. The odd thing is I haven’t been to church in a while and I happen to follow my instincts that I needed to see him about my visions and I needed guidance with them and yet as we were speaking I have a vision of the angels … I know now why:) I also looked up the number four and your quite right and it makes again perfect sense

That is exactly what I was doing at the time that I got a vision of the angels was speaking to him of the very thing that brought me there to see him ’ my visions’ . What’s wonderful and no one truly could answer to me why I have visions but he has and God certainly has a hand it in that I always knew it’s just recently I have combined both , religion and vision a beautiful combination
