Visions of Hell: How Many of them Included Visions of Abortionists?

I’ve been doing a lot of research into visions of hell, and have a question.

Are there any recorded visions of hell which included visions of abortionists in hell?

I haven’t seen any myself, but maybe some of you have.

Not yet, but I have not the slightest doubt that some “visionaries”, sooner or later, will do so.:rolleyes:

I myself take no stock in these “visionaries”, or indeed in most of the “private revelations”.:nope:

For myself, I do NOT want the abortionists to be in hell, so I do pray for their conversion, even if it is at the moment of death. (Chaplet of Divine Mercy.):gopray:

By the way, if hell were set up along the lines of Dante, there would be no way to distinguish which of the murderers in the river of boiling blood were abortionists:dts:

There are many saints who have seen hell, and maybe their visions of abortionists in hell would serve as a wake up call to those who are still living.

As Christians, I’m pretty sure this is the attitude we’re supposed to have. I don’t buy much into those sorts of private revelations either, Dru.
 
We have no official teaching of who is or is not in hell outside of the fallen angels.

Many saints who have had visions of hell specifically mention certain punishments for certain sins. Certainly there ahs to be one that explains the punishment for killing a baby.

I know that St Faustina offered the sufferings of her illness in reparation for the sin of abortion - she might be a place to start. I’m curious as to why you want or need to know this, if we know abortion is a grave sin we can logically deduce that if there are sinners of other kinds in Hell then there are also abortionists.

People who have been given visions of hell say that they have seen adulterers, thieves, liars, blasphemers, and the unforgiving in hell. I was just curios to see if abortionists have been seen in hell also. And if so, did they understand why they were in hell?

But why the curiosity? Why are you interested in what sorts of persons have been reported by visionaries as being in Hell?

And of course everyone who is in Hell will understand why they are there - it would be contrary to God’s justice to condemn them without their understanding.

St Faustina also experienced the pains of having an abortion. The pain was out of this world. I was very moved by this as my daughter also has had an abortion.😊

Maybe abortionists can be reached if they know that they are in danger of going there themselves. Somebody giving testimony that abortionists have gone to hell could sway many so they can repent and not go there themselves.
 
I don’t think that would help. Let’s reach them through love, instead.

Somebody giving testimony that abortionists have gone to hell will be regarded as a deluded crank, making it all up. :whacky:

Like…is their a single abortionist who does not know that the Catholic Church regards abortion as sin, and what the Catholic Church teaches will be the consequences of that sin? Yes, they know the Church’s teachings, but they do not believe in them. :dts:

If these visionaries were not given abortionists as a group of sinners in hell then maybe there aren’t any.🤓 :hmmm: :coffeeread: :yawn:
 
How about the souls of priest who sexuall abused children?
Were they seen in hell? 🤷

Some people say the same about the saints who were given visions of hell as well.

It would help to know that the deaths of those babies is being avenged by God in some way.
