Visions or dreams of GOD

I was looking for this kind of subject in website and I am not found it.
I believe that God can give to christian a vision or dream personally in his or her home in midst of his or her prayer time and also that He can do it in midst of sermon.
But I like to know what you as catholics think about it?

Thank you for sending this link. I had read some of centering prayer and I am not practise it because I am not sure that it is biblical.

These things certainly do happen and can take place anywhere, anytime since they depend on God, not us. We can talk about the subject but apparently not about the specific private revelations. And I can see why that would be appropriate. At any rate, the Church has quite a history with these experiences. Many are recorded in books on the saints. Saint Teresa of Avila and St John of the Cross are two notable examples.
 
I’m not sure if you are asking a deeper question here. Catholics believe that God can do anything, and so a vision can come whenever He likes to send it. The impicit question that I am hearing (I may be misreading you) is whether or not we pray and worship at home, and if we can encounter God then why do we have such strict rules about Mass attendance. Is this also part of the question, or am I off base?

I so sorry but I do not know anything about catholic mass stricts- I had studied in seminary that they not give commonion to non-catholics. And because of that I no ask this what you mean. Simply I was thinking there that how catholics believe in visions or in dreams because I am still not catholic. And in one sermon I saw Mary in vision. I know that it sounds crazy but it was so. Because of that I was thinking that it is ok when Mary can reveal to non-catholic person as me. Yes I know that there some holy persons as apostles or other saints but I not pray to them or something else.

I can’t comment about the authenticity of another person’s experiences of course, but yes, God can give you the type of vision you speak of and one of it’s main purposes, besides reinforcing your faith in Him, is more than likely to direct you to the Catholic Church. I’ve had similar experiences.
