Jan. 24 is the feast day of St. Francis de Sales, who along with St. Jane Frances de Chantal, founded the Sisters of the Visitation of Holy Mary in France. The Visitation Sisters are growing in number around the world. Guess in what countries?

Read about how the Visitation Order is growing in the article, “Salesian Spirituality is Strong and Growing.

Not in France, England, Scotland, Spain, or Italy. (That’s my guess.)

You’re right…they’re not growing there.

Instead, they’re growing in Africa, Asia (South Korea), Central and South America.

We need to build a culture of vocations here in the U.S., for all of the good religious orders to grow.
