It is not often that I visit a non Catholic church but the opportunity doese arrise I do not hesitate to go. For a few reasons:
  1. They do read the Word of God. Which as a Catholic I do like to hear the Word of God read.
  2. When someone of that church is questioning my faith it helps me to understand where they are coming from. I can better guide them to the truth. Not that I study and go in deep depth on their faith and beliefs. Just enough to cover the bare ground to help establish credit.
  3. I find that if I am inviting people to my Catholic church to show them the way I should go if they invite me to their church. I lose a lot of credit if I always say no when they ask. They will never come with me again to the Mass. After all the more they come to the Catholic Mass the more I can help guide them to the truth. Now if it were a perfect world I would not have to worry about celebrating outside of Catholic church since there would be only one church. But until that day comes I will do my part to help guide one more soul to the True Church.

You are a very nice person and may God Bless you in you efforts.

You must mean the Eastern Rite Catholic Churches? The Eastern ‘Orthodox’ are not in communion with the Roman Pontiff, and attending a service (however valid) is schismatic.
Wrong, stuart. Go read the Ecumenical directory. And canon law, which provides that Catholics may approach the Orthodox for the sacraments of reconciliation, eucharist, and annointing.

As with the SSPX, attending is not a schismatic act, nor is communing. (Advocating adherence to their particular theological and theosophical differences, however, could be.)

In the case of attending with family, or attending for educational purposes, within the US, a Catholic (of any rite) fulfills their Sunday obligation by participation in Orthodox services.

Likewise, Orthodox are permitted to receive in the Catholic Church, under any rite. Few approach, but they are permitted to.

Attending an EC parish, one will be communed if one shows the appropriate disposition (which, depending on which parish, may require confession prior to liturgy within 24 hours.)
